According to YouTube on the 29th (local time), Adam Aaron, CEO of AMC Theaters, started a survey on his Twitter asking for opinions about the introduction of Sibainu’s payment method.
More than 30,000 people participated in the ongoing survey, and it is reported that more than 80% of the respondents agreed.
After conducting such a Twitter survey on Dogecoin earlier this month, Aaron announced that Dogecoin would be added as a payment method at AMC’s tickets and kiosks from early 2022.
AMC has decided to introduce Bitcoin, Ethereum, Litecoin, and Bitcoin Cash as payment methods by the end of this year, and is currently preparing for it.
According to YouTube, the stock price of AMC has risen more than 1600% this year as movie theaters, which were suspended due to the COVID-19 outbreak, are back to normal and news such as the introduction of cryptocurrency payments continue.
