AMD FSR 2.0 Open Source Released, More Games Applied in the Future

AMD’s upscaling technology, FSR 2.0, was open sourced through GPUOpen.

In the GPUopen post that posted this open source, it was revealed that about a year after AMD FSR was released, there have been more than 110 FSR supported games, and that it has been adopted the fastest among game technologies that AMD has released on the market so far.

In addition, with this FSR 2.0 open source release, a dedicated page and FSR 2 samples and sources are provided through GitHub. He added that the version that can be downloaded is v2.0.1, which is a version that reflects some bugs and optimizations along with the initial 2.0 release.

Meanwhile, in the case of AMD FSR, it is expected that FSR 2.0 technology will be applied to more games in the future through this FSR 2.0 open source release, as it is a function that can expect decent upscaling quality compared to performance improvement.
