Ireland women’s cricketer Amy Hunter has set a new record by scoring a century on her 16th birthday. The schoolboy, who scored 121 not out against Zimbabwe, is the youngest player to score a century in international cricket. Mithali Raj of India scored a century when she was 16 years and 205 days old.

In the men’s, Pakistan’s Shahid Afridi scored a century when he was only 16 years and 217 days old.
