Abu Dhabi: A mosque under construction in Abu Dhabi, United Arab Emirates partially collapsed. Many people were injured. Officials said the injured have been admitted to hospital.
The incident happened in Al Batheen area on Thursday. There are no reports that anyone’s injuries are serious. Part of the church, which was being built, collapsed. The Abu Dhabi Police and Civil Defense team arrived at the scene immediately and evacuated people from the accident site to safe places. Abu Dhabi Police asked the public not to go to the accident site and to obtain information only from official centres.
