An ancient giant galaxy that continues to grow by recycling stardust
Some of the stars that are born in the galaxy have supernova explosions and release their debris out of the galaxy with huge amounts of energy. This time, the Subaru Telescope and the Keck Telescope managed for the first time to capture the state of a massive galaxy that was growing through the reincarnation cycle of this star.
