an impressive performance in Qatar; Manchester City brought the Argentinian player to the club

Manchester City have completed the signing of Argentinian youngster Maximo Peron. Fabrizio Romano, a famous football journalist, reported that there were earlier attempts to bring Peron, who currently plays at the Argentinian club Velez Sarsfield, to the club, and for that, Guardiola and Javier Mascherano, the coach of Argentina Under-20 team, reported.

Argentina star Julian Alvarez moved from River Plate to Manchester City in a transfer last summer.

Alvarez went to the field as a substitute often because the team had a strong fighter named Erling Holland.

Alvarez’s performance at the Qatar World Cup impressed even coach Pep Guardiola, who had already placed his faith in the player’s performance.

With the arrival of Alvarez from Argentina showing good results, Pep came to the scene to acquire another Argentinian player. City have set a price tag of £7m for 19-year-old Peron.

Perron has made 33 appearances this season for the Velez club and has two goals and three assists. After making his debut for the senior team last March, Peron has also played for the national under-20 team.

Peron is set to represent Argentina in the South American Under-20 Championship to be held this month. After that, it is reported that the player will continue to play in Europe.

According to the report, English Premier League clubs such as Newcastle United and Wolves and Portuguese club Benfica are in the field for Peron, who has already proven his ability.
