In line with the new Ryzen 7 5800X3D with 96MB of L3 cache, AMD has released AGESA Version 1.2.0.6b to improve system performance.
Many ASUS 500, 400, A320, and X370 series motherboards have already undergone a BIOS update with this new AGESA build, and the rest of the compatible models will also have a corresponding BIOS update after March 25th. ..
All other CPUs are 400 and 500 series ASUS with existing BIOS updates (including AGESA version 1.2.0.6b) that can be downloaded from the ASUS Support website (https://www.asus.com/JP/support) It will be recognized by the motherboard.
Older generation ASUS motherboards can get support for these new CPUs according to the table below.
