The wind waves in the Andaman Sea and the Gulf of Thailand are strong. The Andaman Sea and the upper Gulf of Thailand have waves 2-4 meters high, in thunderstorm areas more than 4 meters, 2-3 meters high in the lower Andaman Sea, and more than 3 meters in thunderstorm areas. Below the wave height about 2 meters. In thunderstorm areas, the wave height is more than 2 meters. Sailors should proceed with caution and avoid sailing in thunderstorm areas. Small boats in the Andaman Sea and the upper Gulf of Thailand should remain ashore until 14 Jul 65.
