[OSEN=우충원 기자] K League 2 FC Anyang has completely signed the striker Jonathan, who was on loan.
FC Anyang have agreed to completely sign striker Jonathan on loan from Costa Rica club Deportiva Alajuelense. Despite his first season this year, he showed outstanding performances, scoring 14 goals in 29 league matches, and is now a player for Anyang.
Jonathan Moya, who made his debut at Saprisa in Costa Rica in the last 10/11 season, is a front-line striker with various overseas experiences, such as Huesca of La Liga in Spain and Zirka of Ukraine. From the 18/19 season, he played for Costa Rica’s Deportiva Alajuelense, and joined Anyang on loan for the 2021 season. After successfully completing a season in Anyang, he was fully recruited to Anyang and will play on the Korean stage for the 2022 season as well.
As the Costa Rica national team member, he also participated in Costa Rica’s 2022 Qatar World Cup final qualifiers held this year. Jonathan was called by his country even in the midst of Anyang’s fierce struggle for promotion, and he was able to complete most of the World Cup final qualifiers that Costa Rica held this year.
Jonathan Moya showed off his presence in the K League 2 by showing various abilities such as air superiority fights based on excellent physical strength and cooperative play using teammates. In particular, he scored 14 goals in 29 league matches and won the K League 2 Best 11, and is expected to lead Anyang’s attack in the 2022 season.
FC Anyang Jonathan said: “I am very happy to have fully joined Anyang. This year, I was running towards the promotion of Anyang, but it was a pity that I could not achieve that goal.” He said, “I want to give Anyang fans the gift of promotion in the 2022 season.
