Apple is highly likely to unveil a new MacBook Air with a redesigned design at the World Developers Conference (WWDC22) next month, multiple foreign media reported, citing Bloomberg News’ Mark Gurman’s latest Power-On Newsletter.

According to the report, Mark Gurman said, “Apple is aiming to launch a next-generation MacBook Air with an M2 chip at its conference. “Apple employees are increasingly using the next-generation MacBook Air, which is a sign that the announcement of the new MacBook Air is near.”

The new MacBook Air features a more powerful M2 chipset, and the display size is expected to increase from 13.3 inches to 13.6 inches. In addition, it is said that the bezel (edge) will be thinner, a white notch will be applied, and it will support Magsafe charging technology.

On the other hand, Gurman took a negative stance on the release of an AR/VR headset that Apple recently demonstrated at a board meeting, saying, “It is cautious to expect a full-fledged presentation for developers and consumers.”
