Apple to add obsolete product list ‘iPhone 5C’ next month.. End all services

On the 12th (local time), citing MacRumors, Apple said that Apple plans to mark the iPhone 5C model as a discontinued product on the 1st of next month.

As part of a sort of inventory and decommissioning policy, Apple has a Vintage service that limits service to 5-7 years of manufacture, and an Obsolete service policy that stops all hardware service for manufactured products for more than 7 years without exception are implemented

Apple added the iPhone 5C to its obsolete list in October 2020. According to a note obtained by MacRumors, Apple plans to add the iPhone 5C to its list of obsolete products next month.

Apple also mentioned in a memo that the third-generation iPad mini with Wi-Fi and TD-LTE support would also be marked as discontinued on the same day.
