On the 10th (local time), Apple released the latest firmware update for ‘AirTag’, a lost and found tracking device.
The new firmware version is 2.0.24 and has a build number of 2A24e. The firmware version released last April was 1.0.301 and the build number was 1A301.
Apple has not yet released update information for the latest firmware, so it is not yet known what improvements have been made in this version.
AirTag updates are installed wirelessly via a paired iPhone.
