Foreign media reported on the 18th (local time) that there is a bug that prevents Spotify streaming in models installed with the latest Apple Watch series operating system (OS) watchOS 9.
According to the report, the Spotify streaming interference bug for the Apple Watch series with watchOS 9 occurs on Wi-Fi and cellular networks, but pre-downloaded Spotify media on the Apple Watch appears to be fine.
Spotify said in an email to users, “There is a bug in WatchOS 9 that prevents the Apple Watch from streaming to Spotify.”
Meanwhile, there are reports that a Spotify streaming bug has been fixed in the first beta version of watchOS 9.1, released by Apple last week, but Apple did not mention this in the release notes.
