The chaos of IBK Industrial Bank of Korea in women’s volleyball continues. While appointing a new general manager, they are moving, such as announcing the recruitment of new foreign players, but it seems that the situation is far from being resolved.

IBK Industrial Bank of Korea (IBK) announced the appointment of a new manager (57) who felt emotional ahead of the GS Caltex match held at the Hwaseong Sports Complex on the 27th. At the same time, it was announced that he was about to sign a contract with Dali Santana (USA), who played in the Turkish league, replacing Rebecca Lassem, a foreign player.

IBK Industrial Bank of Korea fired coach Seo Nam-won and general manager Yoon Jae-seop at the same time on the 21st as conflicts within the team arose as the departure of main setters Jo Song-hwa and coach Kim Sa-ni from the squad became known. Since then, the team has been supervised by acting coach Sani Kim.

Controversy does not subside. IBK Industrial Bank of Korea is providing the spark plug. The club once again emphasized the will of disciplinary action against Song-hwa Jo, who has expressed his intention to return to the team, and Kim, who is in charge of the team.

On the same day, the club reiterated that it was a ‘temporary command tower system’ and said, “We are currently looking for a new manager, and we will take reasonable measures (for acting Kim) as soon as the appointment of a manager is completed.”

Kim’s position is slightly different. Acting Kim, who alleges the former coach’s abusive language, denied the trespass, saying, “I can tell you clearly that I did not leave the club at the time.” It is explained that after submitting his resignation letter, he waited for the team to take action. However, on the 23rd, he said ahead of his first match, “I heard that there will be sanctions by the club (for trespassing). A slightly different nuance is read from the remark, “It is natural.” Kim also said, “I will resign when a new manager is appointed.” “I will probably go down as a coach. I think I will keep my coaching job.”

IBK Industrial Bank’s confusion is currently ongoing. Various issues, such as the appointment of acting director Kim, the verbal abuse of former manager Seo Nam-won, and the fate of acting Kim, flowed out unresolved within the club, showing the current position of the team’s crisis management as it is.

Meanwhile, IBK Industrial Bank of Korea has decided to formally refer the disciplinary action against Songhwa to the Korean Volleyball Federation (KOVO) Reward and Punishment Committee. IBK Industrial Bank of Korea pushed for the voluntary termination of Cho Song-hwa, who said that he would not return to the team in the first place, but failed to properly comply with the voluntary termination regulations that changed in the new season of the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism, where the will of the player was strengthened, and failed to impose disciplinary action. As Jo Song-hwa announced his intention to return to the team, the rules that could be voluntary as well as other disciplinary actions became vague.

IBK Industrial Bank of Korea will decide on the disciplinary action against Songhwa according to the result of the KOVO reward and punishment punishment.
