Appointment order submitted directly; Complaint of disorder; Debate | pathanamthitta | ld clerk | manorama news | Kerala News debate | News from Kerala

There is an allegation of irregularity in handing over the appointment order to the candidates for the post of HR Clerk in the Revenue Administration Department at Pathanamthitta. It is alleged that the order was delivered directly to two people contrary to the rule that the appointment order should be sent by registered post.

Last Friday, the District Collector of Pathanamthitta ordered the appointment of 25 people in the revenue department as per the recommendation of PSC. The rule is that the appointment order should be sent to the candidates by registered post. But two people started working in Adoor taluk within hours of signing the order by the District Collector. The complaint is that the order was passed directly to Ananthu Pradeep, a resident of Veliyam and Haseena Habib, a resident of Pandalam. The order was sent to the other 23 by post on Tuesday. The Joint Council’s explanation was that the order was transferred directly because the applicants had written in writing stating that they did not live at their permanent address. But the NGO Sangh has claimed that these two candidates were called to the Collectorate yesterday to get a written statement and the District Collector has ordered an inquiry into the incident.
