Are iPhone 14 sales slow? Foxconn is cutting a production line at its Zhengzhou factory in China

Apple is reportedly shrinking production lines due to low demand for the latest iPhone 14 base model.

According to a report by Chinese media IT Home, Foxconn, Apple’s largest supplier, is said to be planning to cut back on at least five iPhone 14 production lines at its factory in Zhengzhou in China. It has not yet been confirmed whether the slow-selling 6.7-inch Plus model will be included alongside the base iPhone 14 model.

The iPhone 14 series was announced as models ▲6.1-inch iPhone 14 ▲ 6.7-inch iPhone 14 Plus ▲ 6.1-inch iPhone 14 Pro ▲ 6.7-inch iPhone 14 Pro Max. Only two of these Pro models get the latest A16 Bionic chipset, upgraded display, and camera only. ▲ iPhone 14 ▲ The iPhone 14 Plus model has almost the same hardware compared to the iPhone 13 released last year.

According to a report by renowned Apple analyst Ming-Chi Kuo, Apple has asked Foxconn to convert its iPhone 14 production line into iPhone 14 Pro models due to strong demand for iPhone 14 Pro models. This report is considered an extension of analyst Kuo’s report.

Meanwhile, the iPhone 14 series will start pre-ordering in Korea on the 30th and will be officially released on the 7th of next month.
