The city of Daegu said around 80,000 religious groups attended the event.

However, controversy remains over Daegu City’s permission to host such a large-scale religious event.

This is because of the re-emergence of Corona 19, which Shincheonji Church triggered the Daegu pandemic in the early days of the Corona 19 outbreak.

The Daegu City Council also demanded the cancellation of the event rental shortly after the October 29 disaster, citing safety concerns.

“In every lane, large cars are parked in front of the mart and the flat, at the moment. I called the police, the county office, and city hall, and they said, ‘We’re trying to (manage) traffic now.’

In order to manage security and maintain order, around 700 public officials, including local governments, the police, and firefighters, have been mobilized, and some point out that it is a waste of administrative power.
