A group of three who disguised a direct transaction from the used goods trading site’Carrot Market’ and stole 20 money of pure gold and ran away was caught by the police.
According to the police on the 30th, the Gwangju mine police arrested and investigated three people, including A, a man in his twenties, on charges such as special theft.
Mr. A and others are accused of stealing 20 money (about 75g) of pure gold from a victim who met at 12:30 p.m. on that day from a victim who met through the carrot market, a second-hand goods direct transaction application, in Gwangju.
After the police received the report, the Gwangju-Jeonnam Police Agency cooperated to track down Mr. A, who was driving on the highway. The police confirmed that they were going to Suncheon on closed circuit (CC) TV, and placed their careers on the expected escape route.
Eventually, Mr. A and others were caught near Seungju-eup in Suncheon at 1:32 pm on the same day. All of the 5.5 million won worth of pure gold they stole was also recovered.
A and others live in Busan, but it was investigated that they came to Gwangju for the purpose of stealing pure gold from the carrot market.
The police plan to investigate women’s crimes against them.
