As the number of infections in Beijing increases … PCR inspection within 48 hours when entering public places

Reinforce the policy of bringing a voice test… Reduced from once every three days to once every two days

Beijing, the capital of China, has strengthened its quarantine policy, saying that people must bring a negative PCR test certificate received within 48 hours to enter public places as the number of corona19 infections increases.

According to the Chinese Health Commission on the 22nd, the number of new corona19 infections in Beijing the day before was counted at 1,438.

The number of new infections in Beijing, which had been in double digits, rose to triple digits on the 10th, surpassed 500 on the 18th, and surged to 962 on the 20th.

The number of new infections counted by 3:00 pm on the same day was 634.

Beijing quarantine authorities said in a quarantine briefing that day, from the 24th, a negative PCR test certificate issued within 48 hours is required to enter public institutions, state-owned enterprises, general companies, markets, shops and restaurants.

In addition, those who want to use public transport such as buses and subways need a PCR test certificate issued within 48 hours.

The current quarantine standard is to bring a negative PCR test certificate within 72 hours.

It is a will to prevent the spread of Corona 19 by finding hidden infections by shortening the PCR test from once every three days to once every two days.

The quarantine authorities also strictly control events where people gather, such as meetings, workshops, exhibitions and forums, and require people commuting from cities near Beijing to bring an issued negative PCR test certificate within 48 hours.

Beijing has recently strengthened its quarantine policies, such as limiting the number of office workers going to work, converting elementary, middle and high school classes online, and closing major parks.

Beijing City spokesman Xu Hejian said, “The number of new infections in Beijing continues to rise.”
