On the fourth day of the day-night Test match in Adelaide, Mitchell Starc’s ball was ‘out of place’ for Root. The player was seriously injured in the incident. The route then lay on the ground for a while and then continued after finally consuming the painkillers. The incident happened on the first ball of the 42nd over which was bowled by Starc. Video footage of Australian players and commentators struggling to laugh as they lay on the ground in pain was also discussed on social media.
It was after these events that a video of Root went viral in the audience and later on social media. Spider-Cam came close to the root while changing underwear after being injured by Stark’s ball. The way the root handled this case went viral. As the camera approached, the England captain’s sense of humor was revealed. Root looked at the approaching spider cam and gestured with his hand to remove it from his closet.
