The 25-year-old grew up in the academy of Pune FC. The player, who started playing ISL for Pune City, arrived in Bangalore in 2019. Aashiq is a regular in the national team, having played a total of 65 matches in the ISL. Aashiq has scored a total of three goals in his club career. Aashiq has scored once in 25 national matches.
