‘Ask Bodhisattva’ Lee Soo-geun “I grew up watching under my new mother… A depressed child”

Comedian Lee Soo-geun confessed his family history and remembered his difficult childhood.

In the KBS Joy entertainment program ‘Ask Anything’ (‘Ask Bodhisattva’), which was broadcast on the 28th, ‘A man who has never laughed in 15 years. A client with the question, ‘How can I laugh again?’ appeared.

The client said, “After my parents divorced, I grew up with my grandmother. After my grandmother passed away when I was in middle school, my sister also died.

Also, when I was 29, my father also died.” “After that, I lost my smile. It’s been about a year since I opened and operated a butcher shop,” he said of his difficult past.

To this, Lee Su-geun advised, “You shouldn’t live in the past,” and “just because your childhood was gloomy, you don’t need to be depressed now.”

Lee Su-geun said, “I grew up alone with my stepmother. At home, I was a child who was always depressed by looking at me every day.”

Then, “That’s why I wanted to become a comedian who makes others laugh,” he said of the reason he became a comedian.

Lee Soo-geun comforted her, saying, “You can’t live forever alone, so don’t judge yourself as a man who doesn’t smile.” “If you have something to laugh about, smile. Life should be full of joy and happiness.”

‘Ask Anything’ is a program in which the bodhisattva Seo Jang-hoon and the younger son Su-geun Lee offer a solution. It airs every Monday at 8:30 PM.
