On the 5th, Asus of Taiwan unveiled the latest gaming smartphone ROG Phone 6 series.
The ROG Phone 6 series will be released as ▲ROG Phone 6 ▲ROG Phone 6 Pro models. The Pro model supports up to 18GB of RAM and comes with a programmable color AMOLED display on the back.
Both models feature 6.78-inch AMOLED displays with 1080 x 2448 pixel resolution and 165Hz refresh rate, and are powered by Qualcomm Snapdragon 8+ first-generation processors. It comes with 12/16/18GB of RAM and non-expandable 256GB or 512GB of UFS 3.1 storage. The display refresh rate can be set to 60Hz, 90Hz, 120Hz, or 144Hz.
It also features a programmable AirTrigger ultrasonic button on the right and back of the device to map controls to in-game support, dual front speakers, triple mics, Dirac Virtuo spatial audio, a headphone jack, and IPX4 water resistance.
It comes with a triple camera with a 50MP Sony IMX766 main camera on the back, a 12MP Sony IMX663 selfie camera on the front, and a 6000mAh battery that supports up to 65W fast charging.
ROG Phone 6 series 12GB + 256GB base model price starts at 999 euros (about 1.34 million won).
