Vishnu Unnikrishnan is an actor who made his film debut as a child actor. Later, he shone in lead roles. Vishnu Unnikrishnan has become a favorite of the audience by playing different roles in a short span of time. But the actor has revealed about the beginning of his acting career. Vishnu said that he did not wander anywhere to get a chance in the film. Vishnu revealed this in an interview held as part of the promotion of the movie Kuri.
‘Many people tell me that you got the chance to act because you have wandered around a bit. I only know that I have not wandered anywhere. So I did not try anything for chance. I didn’t know any of the directors. I didn’t know anyone in the movie either. All that is known is Manurajetan. We used to play mime in Pulley’s troupe. A friend of Pulli’s, Nishad Khan, asked me to go there when the shooting of the film ‘My house is Appupuyum’ was going on,’ said Vishnu Unnikrishnan.
Vishnu revealed that he used to go to that movie when he got first in the state for Mimicry and the photo came out in the newspaper and he was standing happy, so when he went to the set, he met the director named Sibi Malail for the first time, but when he got there, he found out that someone else had done the fixed role. But Vishnu Unnikrishnan said that Nishadika kept him there by telling him to stay there, and when a dialogue came up, Nishadika asked him, “Why don’t you tell me?”
‘When my first take was okay in that film, everyone clapped. CB Sir came and gave a shake hand. Then my thought was that I became a film actor, now the calls will come like this, I didn’t go anywhere and ask for a chance’, said Vishnu about his first acting moment.
Vishnu Unnikrishnan’s upcoming movie is Kuri. Kuri is directed by KR Praveen under the banner of Kocares Media Entertainments. Surabhi Lakshmi and Vishnu Govindan are playing other characters in the film.
