Australia to allow entry to Koreans who have been vaccinated from the 1st of next month

The Australian government has decided to allow entry of Koreans who have been vaccinated against COVID-19 from the 1st of next month.

As the border closure policy was partially eased due to the COVID-19 pandemic in March last year, it is expected that tourism to Australia, as well as studying abroad and employment will increase significantly.

Prime Minister Morrison also announced that ‘Eligible Visa’ holders who have been vaccinated against COVID-19 will be allowed to enter the country without a separate permit.

The ‘reasonable visa’ includes technology, employment, study abroad, and working holiday, and it is expected that the visa holders will enter Australia in earnest.

Prime Minister Morrison said, “Australia’s vaccination rate for people aged 16 and over has exceeded 85%.”
