Melbourne: Serbian star Novak Djokovic, who is aiming for his 22nd Grand Slam title, has competed in the semi-finals of the Australian Open tennis.
Andrey Rab Loev from Russia was defeated in the quarter-finals by a score of 6-1, 6-2, 6-4. America’s Tommy Paul is the opponent in the semi-final on Friday. Tommy defeated Ben Shelton 7-6(6), 6-3, 5-7, 6-4 in the quarter-final between the Americans.
In men’s singles, Stefanos Tsitsipas of Russia Karan Khachanov-Greece will also play in the semi-finals tomorrow. In women’s singles, Elena Rybakina-Belarus of Kazakhstan, Victoria Azaranka and Arina Sebalanka of Poland, Magda Linette-Belarus, will play in the semi-finals on Thursday.
