In two actions, the Military Police seized about 16 kilos of pressed marijuana, ready for division and sale, in about 24 hours. The seizures took place in São Gonçalo dos Campos and Barreiras.
This Monday morning (6), teams from the 67th Independent Company of the Military Police (CIPM/ Feira de Santana) located more than nine drug tablets in São Gonçalo dos Campos, in the Recôncavo Baiano.
According to the commander of the 67th CIPM, Lieutenant Colonel José Hildon Lobão, a suspect was hiding the material in an abandoned property. “He was approached and taken to the Central de Flagrantes”, he explained. The man was eventually taken to the police station.
In Barreiras, in the west of the state, the 83rd CIPM found seven kilos of marijuana in the neighborhood of Recanto dos Pássaros.
