The National Health Council has said that wearing a mask is not mandatory in Bahrain until further notice. The new decision follows a review of the latest developments and data related to Kovid (Bahrain mask rules).
The mask can be removed in closed areas and open areas. However, the elderly and those with chronic diseases should wear the mask. It should also be worn when working in the health sector. Individuals also have the right to wear masks at will.

National Medical Task Force officials said Kovid control efforts in Bahrain have proven effective and emphasize the importance of continuing to follow health measures to protect public health.
