The acceptance of new coronavirus vaccinated travelers in Bangkok, the capital of Thailand, is expected to begin on October 15, 2021. Each report reports.
A spokesman for the Thai Prime Minister’s Office recently announced that it will begin accepting vaccinated travelers in Bangkok, Chonburi, Petchaburi, Prachuwap Kiri Khan and Chiang Mai from October 1, 2021. However, Thai Minister of Tourism and Sports Pipat Ratchakit Prakan said on September 15 that the acceptance of travelers in Bangkok will be postponed from October 15.
The minister explained the postponement that although Bangkok is ready to welcome foreign tourists, it is waiting for more people living in Bangkok to be fully vaccinated. In Bangkok, about 37% of the population is currently vaccinated twice. It is said that 70% of the population must have been vaccinated for opening.
