Barry Sanders, Jerome Bettis are among the RB's competitors for the NFL All-Time Team

Adrian Peterson is the single active player among 24 current backs chosen Monday night as competitors for the NFL's All-Time Team.

As part of its 100 season celebrations, a 26-person voting panel is using the NFL to select the team. Twelve of the 24 current arrivals will be revealed on Friday night as the first part of the squad.

There are 23 Football Hall Pro protests on the competitors list – Peterson is, of course, not eligible for five years after retirement – and represents

14 MVP awards combined for 2,246 commands.

Career career routing leader Emmitt Smith lays emphasis on the list including the likes of Jim Brown, Walter Payton, Barry Sanders, Red Grange and Bronko Nagurski.

The NFL will have a staff count each week on site during the next six weeks.
