Lee Hyun-ju, a former member of the Pohang Steelers’ youth team in the K-League Pohang Steelers, joined the German Bundesliga Bayern Munich.
On the 14th (Korean time), Munich said, “Lee Hyun-joo, the attacking resource, was loaned out for one year. A full recruitment option is included.”
Hyeon-joo Lee, who attended Pohang Steel Middle School and Pohang Steel High School, is an attacking midfielder. He was also selected for the national team by age and scored one goal in two matches in the U-14 tournament and six goals in eight matches in the U-17 tournament.

In October of last year, when the K-League club announced the rookie players for the 2022 season priorities, he was included in the Pohang list and was named as a prospective college student.
Munich also signed a contract with Jung Woo-young, a former student at Daegeon High School, the youth team of Incheon United at the time. Jung Woo-young, who started with the Munich second team, moved to Freiburg in 2019.
Lee Hyun-joo said, “I am very honored to join Munich. I have been impressed with Joshua Kimmich’s play in Munich.”
