Because going out to sea! “Rio” shuffled, Liverpool sold “Mane” out of the team last summer.

Manchester United legend, Rio Ferdinand, has emphasized once again that Liverpool’s summer sale of Sadio Mane was the reason for their decline and troubles in the Premier League C. Today, according to reports from the Liverpool Echo.

The Reds had just been knocked out of the FA Cup, losing 2-1 to Brighton and Hove Albion, while their league table wasn’t as good as they trailed fourth-placed United in the FA Champions League to 10 points after 20 games.

Speaking on his own podcast, PUM Podcast, Ferdinand sees Jurgen Klopp’s decision to sell Mane as one of the reasons why the team fell into a deeper slump this season.

“Why didn’t they pay Mane to stay?”

“I think they let the wrong players go. They should let Roberto Firmino go. I don’t understand how you can sell a player who is one of the best players in the world right now?

“Basically, he is the man who wants to stay if you offer him what he wants or something similar to what Mohamed Salah got.”
