Beijing hints at a coup group analysis: Xi Zeng must have a battle | Xi Jinping | Fu Zhenghua |

[Epoch Times October 07, 2021](Hong Kong Epoch Times reporter Zhang Mingjian comprehensive report) Two senior officials at the center of the power whirlpool of the Chinese Communist Party who fell from their horses not long ago are behind a long list of senior officials. Xi Jinping’s authorities hinted that they would join forces. A coup d’etat, and some of them are under orders from someone who has no official rank.

The Central Commission for Discipline Inspection of the Communist Party of China announced on September 30 that the handling of former Deputy Minister of Public Security Sun Lijun was upgraded to a case investigation; two days later, the Central Commission for Discipline Inspection announced that the former Minister of Justice, Deputy Minister of Public Security, and the current Deputy Director of the Social and Legal Committee of the CPPCC Fu Zhenghua monitors the investigation.

The briefing on the Sun Lijun case stated that his “political ambitions were swollen, he formed gangs in the party, cultivated personal power, formed interest groups, and formed gangs to control key departments.”

Moreover, it is rare for the government to announce that one of the two senior officers in the police system has been sacked and the investigation has been upgraded at the same time. This has aroused great attention from the outside world and speculated that there is some connection between the two cases.

Current affairs commentator Dr. Zhang Tianliang believes that Fu Zhenghua and Sun Lijun are a series of cases.

Terms such as “political ambitions” and “big gangs” were also used to describe the former Politburo Standing Committee member and secretary of the Political and Legal Committee Zhou Yongkang, who has been sentenced to prison, and Bo Xilai, a former Politburo member and secretary of the Chongqing Municipal Party Committee. And Meng Hongwei, the last chairman of Interpol. Zhang Tianliang said that these people have participated in the coup plan against Xi Jinping.

He believes that the official use of these terms to define the Sun Lijun case is to imply that Sun Lijun and Fu Zhenghua also participated in the coup seizure plan. Zhang Tianliang said that Meng Jianzhu, the former secretary of the Political and Legal Committee of the Communist Party of China, who has retired, may also be implicated in this series of cases.

On the eve of the two announcements issued by the Central Commission for Discipline Inspection, the Chinese Communist Party’s “Seeking Truth” mentioned in an article that during the “Cultural Revolution”, the “Lin Piao Anti-Party Group” attempted an armed coup but ultimately failed. Subsequently, the official media of the CCP widely reprinted this article.

Current political commentator Chen Pokong said that the Beijing authorities’ renewed mention of the “Lin Biao armed coup” refers to the fact that there is such a situation in the party and that there is such a sign.

Commentators in mainland China, under the pseudonym “Rebirth”, told The Epoch Times that Xi Jinping has purged a lot of Jiang Zemin and Zeng Qinghong, the former leaders of the Communist Party of China, and that the forces opposed to him have always existed. This is why the current trend has taken place.

Since the “Wang Lijun Incident” on the eve of Xi Jinping’s administration in 2012, the CCP “state leaders” who have reached the Politburo Standing Committee level, and have descended to the general CCP political and military officials at the bureau and bureau level, there have been thousands of people or been arrested. Sentenced and imprisoned or punished and thrown out of office, the number of officials who were dismissed at the vice-provincial and ministerial levels alone was close to 400.

These people included Bo Xilai, then secretary of the Chongqing Municipal Party Committee and Politburo member, Zhou Yongkang, former member of the Politburo Standing Committee and secretary of the Political and Legal Committee, who controlled the entire police and judicial system, and Xu Caihou and Guo Boxiong, two vice-chairmen of the military commission who actually took charge of the military. In the end, with the exception of Xu Caihou who died during the investigation, the other three were sentenced to life imprisonment.

The Voice of America once reported on the topic “Zhou Yongkang’s case is the biggest coup since the founding of the Chinese Communist Party?”

“Zhou Yongkang is the largest and true leader of the “coup group” since the establishment of the Communist Party of China in 1949.” “Xi Jinping’s anti-corruption campaign is actually a “Qing Party” and “Qing Army” action against this coup.” Yin quoted a passage from a media person in the report.

But Zhang Tianliang believed that the real mastermind behind the coup was not Zhou Yongkang, but Zeng Qinghong.

Zeng Qinghong is a staunch supporter of Jiang Zemin, the former general secretary of the Communist Party of China. Jiang Zemin was the secretary of the Shanghai Municipal Party Committee before becoming the leader of the Communist Party of China. Zeng Qinghong was then the deputy secretary of the Shanghai Municipal Party Committee. Jiang Zemin still brought Zeng Qinghong with him when he entered Beijing in 1989 as the general secretary of the Communist Party of China. He served successively as deputy director and director of the General Office of the Central Committee of the Communist Party of China, and was finally promoted to member of the Politburo Standing Committee and vice chairman of the country within a short period of time.

Jiang and Zeng are the founders of the “Jiang Zemin faction” of the political force, and Zeng Qinghong is a soul figure like the “godfather” of the faction. Zeng Qinghong and Xi Jinping are both the second generation of red (his father Zeng Shan is a veteran of the Chinese Communist Party, and once served as the Minister of Internal Affairs of the “Chinese Soviet Republic” of the puppet regime). Although Zeng Qinghong has retired and has no official rank, his influence in Jiang Zemin’s faction has not faded.

The officials of Sun Lijun, Fu Zhenghua, Meng Hongwei, and Meng Jianzhu are at the deputy ministerial level or at the ministerial level, and there are many officials at the deputy and national level.

Zhang Tianliang believes that it is impossible for these people to engage in a coup to seize power. It is possible to have a soul figure to lead, at least the current or former Politburo member. That’s Zeng Qinghong.”

Calculated based on the retirement years of officials, officials promoted during Zeng Qinghong’s administration will basically retreat from the core of power after the 20th National Congress of the Communist Party of China next year. According to Zhang Tianliang’s analysis, Zeng Qinghong will fight against the trapped beasts before the 20th National Congress of the Communist Party of China, and Xi Jinping may step up to cut off Zeng Qinghong’s party feathers until Zeng Qinghong is arrested and put in jail.

Zhang Tianliang believes that within one year, before the 20th National Congress of the Communist Party of China next year, some high-ranking officials may be dropped one after another, “Xi Jinping and Zeng Qinghong will have a battle.” @
