London: England all-rounder Ben Stoke has returned to international cricket after a long absence.
The England and Wales Cricket Board announced on Monday that Stoke-on-Trent will play in the Ashes series starting in Australia from December 8. Stoke has been included in the squad for the Ashes.
The cricketer has taken a temporary break from cricket due to mental health issues. He also injured his left index finger during the first match of the 14th season of the IPL. The player, who later underwent finger surgery, was at rest.
Stockhouse responded that he was looking forward to seeing his teammates and getting on the field with them.
