Bengaluru: A Malayali girl was humiliated in Electronic City. The girl was molested when she was returning from her friend’s house. She was molested by a bike taxi driver and his friend. Arafat and Shihabuddin, natives of Bengaluru, were arrested. The police commissioner said the bike taxi driver and the mobile phone repairman have been arrested.
The incident happened on Friday night. The girl, who had come to Bengaluru from Kerala to work as a freelancer, was brutally molested. The girl ordered a bicycle taxi to return late at night after visiting her friend’s house.
Realizing that the girl was not familiar with the area, the bike taxi driver took her along another route. His friend was called and tortured. Friends found the girl who escaped from here on Saturday morning and admitted her to hospital. The complaint was later filed. The girl is still receiving treatment.
At the same time, the Bengaluru police have advised people using bike taxis to be careful late at night.
