Big fire at a printing factory in Seoknam-dong, Incheon… No injuries yet

Around 7:16pm on the 7th, a large fire broke out in a printing factory in Seoknam-dong, Seo-gu, Incheon.

The fire department announced the second phase of the response at around 7:42 pm, 26 minutes after the fire started, and 110 crew members and 43 fire trucks and other equipment are involved in extinguishing the fire. The second stage of the response is an alert order which mobilizes manpower and equipment from 5 to 6 nearby fire stations.

No casualties have been reported so far due to this fire, but five buildings, including company D, which runs the printing business, were burnt. An official from the fire department said, “The place where the fire started is an area where factories are concentrated, so the fire is spreading to nearby buildings, so we announced a second stage of response.”
