Bilawal Bhutto Zardari takes oath as Pakistan’s foreign minister

Bilawal Bhutto Zardari has been sworn in as Pakistan’s foreign minister. President Arif Al-Bilawal was sworn in at a simple ceremony at the official residence of the President of Pakistan, Ivan-e-Sadr. A small gathering of Prime Minister Shahbaz, former President Asif Ali Zardari and leaders of the Pakistan People’s Party was present to witness the ceremony.

Earlier, it was rumored that Bilawal, the president of the Pakistan People’s Party, would be the new foreign minister in the new Shehbaz Sharif government. This is the first time that Bilawal has reached a critical juncture in the government of Pakistan. In his first term as federal minister, he was given a crucial position as Minister of Foreign Affairs.
