Black Panther’s Daniel Kaluuya stars in the first TV commercial for Xbox Series X.

The official launch trailer for the long-awaited Xbox Series X and Series S consoles is out, starring Black Panther is Go out actor, Daniel Kaluuya and the new track from Labrinth “No Ordinary”.

The commercial, titled “Us Dreamers,” shows the actor grabbing the controller, using the headphones, and then embarking on a dream gaming journey, moving from live action to CGI mode through a variety of different game sequences.

Halo Infinite is the main game world that Daniel is sent into, despite the game’s release being postponed to 2021 rather than launching alongside consoles as originally planned.

Other games with subtle hints throughout the trailer include Minecraft is Assassin’s Creed Valhalla, among others.

Josh Munsee, Xbox’s senior manager of integrated marketing, explained the concept of the announcement on

“Daniel travels through his dream, passing through spectacular and immersive images of dream-inspired game worlds before discovering another player and his representation of his gaming dream.

The Xbox Series X and Series S consoles will be officially released on November 10th.
