North Korea fired a short-range ballistic missile on the 25th.

It is analyzed to be a protest against the visit of the United States to Korea by nuclear aircraft carriers and an armed demonstration aimed at the joint naval exercise between South Korea and the United States in the East Sea.

According to the Joint Chiefs of Staff, military authorities detected a short-range ballistic missile launched by North Korea from the Taecheon area of ​​North Pyongan Province at approximately 6:53 am on the same day.

The military said it is maintaining a fully prepared posture while strengthening surveillance and monitoring while working closely with the United States.
