British media praised Son Heung-min of Tottenham Hotspur in the English Premier League (EPL) as a player with excellent effect compared to the transfer fee.
The British media ‘Planet Football’ introduced on the 27th (Korean time), “Heung-Min Son is the best player for his money. He will be recorded as the most outstanding choice of Tottenham and Mauricio Pochettino at the time.”
Son Heung-min transferred to Tottenham from Bayer 04 Leverkusen in Germany’s Bundesliga in 2015 for a transfer fee of 22 million pounds (about 35.5 billion won).
Son Heung-min immediately established himself as a regular, and he has been consistently active as the team ace for seven seasons until this season. He has already scored 121 goals for Tottenham, including 83 goals in 223 Premier League matches.
The media noted that Son Heung-min, who joined with a relatively small transfer fee, had a great influence on the team.
The media said, “From the time Son Heung-min joined, Tottenham Hotspur has transformed into a team that consistently wins the UEFA Champions League (UCL) qualification every season. We became a team, and the power that supports it is Heung-Min Son.”
Tottenham manager Antonio Conte also praised him in a recent interview, saying, “Heung-Min Son is a player who can change the outcome of the game. I will not do anything crazy to exclude Son Heung-Min from the starting lineup.”
Meanwhile, Son Heung-min is currently the top scorer for Tottenham Hotspur, scoring 13 goals in the Premier League this season and tied for second place in the league scoring rankings.
