The Davos Forum, held in Switzerland until today (20), was the platform for Busan to promote Expo 2030.
With flags hanging all over Davos to host Expo 2030, everyone from President Yoon Seok-yeol to the heads of major corporations contributed.

Efforts to attract Expo 2030 to Busan did not stop at the Davos Forum in Switzerland, where current economic issues are discussed.
The ‘Korean Night’ held on the night of the 18th (local time) was a publicity event for Expo 2003.
Starting with President Seok-yeol Yoon, we solicited support for the Busan Expo from more than 300 government and business representatives from around the world.

Before and after the ‘Korean Night’ event, downtown Davos was full of banners appealing for support to host Busan Expo 2030.
Domestic conglomerates have also stepped up to support, such as Hyundai Motor Company including the Busan Expo in the local Genesis promotion event.

Just before the Davos Forum, the city of Busan devoted all its efforts to hosting the expo by meeting with representatives from nine African countries in Paris, France, and appealing for support.
