Broadway musician Stephen Sondem dies Broadway Music Legend Stephen Sondheim Dies At 91

New York: Broadway musician Stephen Sondim has died. Sondim, a lyricist and music director, was 91 years old. His major works are West Side Story and Sweeney Todd.

Stephen Sondheim was born on March 22, 1930, in New York City. From a young age, Sondheem was a regular in the music industry. Sondim started playing the piano at the age of seven. Sondheim first began writing for the 1950 television show Topper.

Sondim’s West Side Story is the basis for two films.
