BTS Jungkook confirmed Corona 19 in the US… Emergency ahead of the Grammys

BTS member Jungkook was diagnosed with the novel coronavirus infection (COVID-19) in Las Vegas, USA.

Big Hit Music announced on the 29th that Jungkook was infected through the fan community platform ‘Weverse’.

Jungkook got on a plane to America before the other members to prepare for the performance of the 64th Grammy Awards. On the 27th, he was tested negative during the departure process.

However, after arriving in Las Vegas, he felt a slight sore throat and was immediately tested and said to have tested positive.

The agency said, “We plan to closely monitor health during the quarantine period.”

Whether or not Jungkook will participate in the future U.S. schedule will be decided according to local regulations.

In BTS, even Jungkook tested positive, and all members were infected with Corona 19.

J-Hope was recently confirmed in Korea and is receiving treatment at home. Suga, RM, Jin, Jimin, and V departed for the United States on the afternoon of the 28th.

They are scheduled to perform at the ’64th Grammy Awards’ held at the MGM Grand Garden Arena in Las Vegas, USA on April 3 (local time).

BTS was nominated for ‘Best Pop Duo/Group Performance’ at the Grammy Awards for the second year in a row. He failed to win the award last year, but if he wins this time, he will be named the first Korean pop music artist to win a Grammy.

After that, the ‘BTS Permission to Dance on Stage-Las Vegas’ concert will be held four times in total on the 8th~9th and 15th~16th of next month at the Allegiant Stadium in Las Vegas.
