RC Lens was also interested in Ndayishimiye
Although OGC Nice has formalized the arrival of the Burundian player, another French club RC Lens was interested in the services of the Burundian nugget. But the latter rejected the Lensoise advances. Why ? According to 90 min.com, RC Lens thought they could recover a renowned defensive executive during this month of January. The target player was Youssouf Ndayishimiye, defender of Turkish club Istanbul Başakşehir. The Lensoise management had offered 12 million euros for its services. A proposal that suited the Turkish club, but in vain. OGC Nice would have always had a hand in this file having the assumed favors of Ndayishimiye since last summer. So the Burundian international has kept his promise. As a result, RC Lens is forced to turn to other options in central defense during this winter transfer window.
