Dubai: RTA to launch bus service to Dubai South from May 19 The new bus route will be launched in association with the private sector. DS-1 is the name given to the bus service. The service runs from Expo Metro Station to Dubai South.

RTA Planning and Business Development Director Adal Shakri said the service would be available from 6 am to 12 noon at one-hour intervals. The RTA said it was ready to work with the government, quasi-government and private entrepreneurs to strengthen the public transport system.
