MAURICE KAMTO SENDS HIS CONDOLENCES TO THE FAMILIES OF THE VICTIMS OF THE ACCIDENT THAT KILLED SEVERAL STUDENTS IN THE ENGLISH-SPEAKING AREA
“I learned with deep pain of the tragedy of the death, in a serious traffic accident, of several pupils of a school, which occurred on Friday March 31, 2023 on the road to Ombe, in the South-West Region. .
I address to the families of the victims of this hecatomb my most saddened condolences as well as those of the Movement for the Renaissance of Cameroon (MRC). I wish a speedy recovery to the injured.
I invite the Government to open a judicial and technical investigation in order to understand what really happened, in order to draw all the necessary conclusions to stem the scourge of
fatal accidents on the roads of the country in general. I also call on the government and the competent authorities at all levels for better supervision of school bus service in particular and adequate protection of our children on the way to school.
