Farah plans to return to competing in the full marathon for the first time since 2019, the 2022 London Marathon, on October 2.

However, the recently 39-year-old Lung Lung has announced that he is withdrawing from the competition. After sustaining a thigh injury “I have been training hard over the last few months. And I was back in good shape. And I feel hopeful that I will be able to perform well.”

Farah’s intention is to return to home racing in April 2023.
