[마이데일리 = 이현호 기자] Christian Eriksen (Denmark) scored a goal in the match A comeback.
The Danish national football team lost 2-4 to the Netherlands in the friendly match A held at the Johan Cruyff Arena in Amsterdam, Netherlands on the 27th at 4:45 am (Korean time). The two teams, which had already qualified for the 2022 World Cup in Qatar, fought fiercely throughout the 90 minutes to explore their power.
Denmark conceded a goal in the 16th minute. Dutchman Steven Berwein conceded a goal. Soon after, Yannick Westergarh equalized the score 1-1. However, Nathan Ake and Memphis Depay conceded consecutive goals and entered halftime 1-3.
Denmark added Eriksen at the start of the second half and removed Jesper Lindstrom. Erik Sen, who collapsed from a cardiac arrest during a Euro 2020 game last summer, is making his A-match comeback after about eight months. It was such a moving moment that the Dutch audience of the opposing team gave a standing ovation.
Eriksen seized the opportunity to score right after entering the field. He finished off a non-stop shot from a ground cross from the right flank. The ball crossed the goalkeeper’s hand and landed in the upper corner of the Dutch goal. Eriksen roared with a bright expression.
But it was not enough to turn the game around. After chasing 2-3, Denmark conceded one more goal to Werwein in the middle of the second half, losing 2-4.
