Lee Dong-hwi praised the sincerity of actor Son Seok-gu, who had many points of contact in the narrative of ‘Casino’.
On the 24th, I met actor Lee Dong-hwi, who plays ‘Yang Jeong-pal’, a key character in the Disney+ original ‘Casino’, at Café Jo Conde in Samcheong-dong, Seoul.
‘Casino’ is a work that depicts the intense story of how ‘Cha Moo-sik’, who became a legend of the casinos of the Philippines without money or money, was pushed to the brink starting with a murder case.
Lee Dong-hwi played the role of ‘Yang Jeong-pal’, a business partner and casino agent of Cha Moo-sik (Choi Min-sik) in the drama, and performed character breathing with various characters. In particular, breathing with Son Seok-gu (played by Oh Seung-hun) was a key theme in Part 2, leading to a lot of interest and favorable reviews.
Regarding Son Seok-gu, Lee Dong-hwi pleasantly said, “After the success of My Liberation Journal, there were fans who were looking for ‘Seok-gu hyeul?’ locally” and added, “(Son) Seok-gu hyung thought about the likelihood of the characters and three-dimensional settings together beyond his role. He is a sincere actor who works with him. I learned to many for the aspect of working with him while working with him. He is an actor I always want to act with.”
