CBI says Walayar sisters’ suicide; Mother says she has no faith Walayar

Palakkad: The CBI has said that the sisters in Valayar committed suicide. The CBI has issued a chargesheet stating that the suicide was due to torture. The CBI has also named the accused in the case. The CBI, which had taken up the matter as per the High Court order on the complaint of the girl’s mother, initially investigated the possibility of murder.

At the site where the children were found hanging, experiments were performed with dummies of the same weight as the children. The indictment alleges that scientific and circumstantial evidence ruled out the possibility of murder.

At the same time, both children, aged 14 and 9, were found to have been sexually abused for up to a year. Combined with this, other evidence led to the conclusion that suicide was the result of further torture. Valiya Madhu, Shibu and Kutty Madhu are the accused in the death of the first child.

Bigger honey in the younger child and another child in the minor. The team led by DySP Anantha Krishnan of the CBI Thiruvananthapuram unit completed the investigation in nine months and filed a chargesheet in the Palakkad Poxo court. But the mother and the strike committee are of the view that the children are murdered. The girl’s mother said she did not believe in the findings and would approach the high court again.
